SmartHome consolidates the functionalities of the MSmartHome and Midea Air apps, delivering a modern interface and an enhanced user experience.

- Appliance Status: Monitor the status of your smart appliances from anywhere. Keep track of laundry cycle progress or the readiness of your dishwasher for dinnerware.
- Helpful Automations: Simplify daily routines by setting tasks such as automatic air conditioner activation during hot weather or scheduling your dehumidifier to switch off at bedtime.
- Customizable Device Cards: Quick access to frequently used devices and controls directly from the app's home screen.
SmartHome is compatible with a range of home appliances including air conditioners, vacuum cleaners, dehumidifiers, fans, ovens, washers & dryers, dishwashers, and more.
Access Permissions:
The following permissions are required for the SmartHome app (formerly MSmartHome) to provide essential services. Users may opt out without affecting core functionalities.
- Bluetooth: Necessary for connecting to nearby devices via Bluetooth or BLE.
- Location: Detects home WLAN network information for device inclusion. Utilizes location data for automating actions based on location changes and weather searches in the "Scene" feature.
- Camera: Enables QR code scanning for device inclusion and facilitates photo uploads for repair reports or feedback submission.
- Album: Accesses saved QR codes for scanning, allows profile photo editing, and permits photo uploading for repair purposes or feedback submission.
